STEVE SCHADT: Are the veneers custom made or do they come off the shelf? Like where do you, where do you get the veneers from? DR. SHELDON SEIDMAN: The porcelain shell basically is what a veneer is. And that is, they’re all custom made. I have a master ceramist that takes care of this stuff. And she is an absolute artist. So you can’t rush the process. And so each one if actually hand done by itself just for you. It’s not where you pick it off the shelf and you say, “This one fits. This one fits.” No. Everything is just for you. ROCKSAND GROGAN: A veneer is a piece of porcelain that goes on the facial, right on the front, of your existing tooth. It takes minimal preparation and the doctor just preps [phonetic] it back just a little bit and slides it right over the top of your natural tooth.
